INPAG Exposure draft 2 will cover the topic of foreign exchange translation, including the impact of exchange rate losses in relation to grant arrangements.  In relation to this topic we held a one-hour focus group to explore:

• The illustrative examples proposed for the implementation guidance
• The approach to presenting and disclosing exchange rate gains and losses relating to grant arrangements

We consulted with a range of stakeholders on this issue. The focus group discussion was in English, for 60 minutes on Thursday 25 May 2023, at 11am UTC / GMT.

Any stakeholder, in any part of the world with interest in this topic is welcome, but we are most keen to hear from:

• NPOs in receipt of grant funding in foreign currencies
• Auditors of grant receiving NPOs
• Grant makers who make grants in a currency that is ‘foreign’ for grantee NPOs
