Rohat specializes in offering training in risk management, financial performance, auditing, and financial stock markets, focusing on emerging markets. He also conducts training and consultancy with different international and local NGOs, including the Governance Institute for Directors (GIoD) sponsored by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Previous roles include the Lecturer in Finance and Managerial Science at Lebanese French University, Erbil.
Rohat completed his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking Science at the University of Aleppo in Syria, and his Master’s degree in Business Administration (Financial Management) at Cairo University in Egypt before moving to Iraq.
Before moving to academia, he spent 2 years as Finance Manager for a local NGO in Kurdistan-Iraq, as well as in various corporate roles.
