INPAG ED3 – Consultation Roundtable for Asia

Event Overview

International Non-Profit Accounting Guidance, Exposure Draft 3 (INPAG ED3) was issued on 28 May 2024, for public consultation. The consultation period is 3½ months, ending 16 September 2024.

We will hold a one-day, invitation-only regional consultation event will bring relevant stakeholders from across Asia to consider, discuss and provide feedback on proposals in ED3.

Input from stakeholders in Asia is crucial, firstly because the expertise will improve the quality of the Guidance, and secondly because engagement by relevant individuals, organisations and bodies will enhance the applicability of the Guidance for subsequent adoption once it is published in 2025.

The meeting will be hosted by the Malaysia Accounting Standards Board on Wednesday 21 August 2024, at Sunway Velocity Hotel Kuala Lumpur, from 8:15am-5pm followed by a networking tea. You can view the agenda here.

Who should attend? 

The event has limited capacity. Invited delegates are selected on the basis of:

  • Stakeholder group,
  • Recommendation,
  • Prior engagement with the project,
  • Country, and
  • An expressed intention to submit a response

The event itself is free and it is hoped that invitees will be able to find resources to meet travel and accommodation costs. The project has a small number of travel bursaries available.
